Updated December 13. We think four words describe Studio Albums — simple, affordable, contemporary, speedy! They've generated a lot of excitement, and had us thinking hard, s o here’s what we mean by Studio Albums, and where we’re going with the range. Watch out for introductory offers, coming soon. Contemporary Don’t get us wrong, we love the grandeur of a large album — but there’s no denying the appeal of smaller sizes. With Studio Albums we’re embracing the trend with two new size, 9x9 and the gorgeous 12x9, our new favourite. To View More >>

UPDATED: corrected an error with the Faux Leather selection. We're getting ready to introduce new cover material and embossing options, and we're pretty excited about it. But first we need to say goodbye to some of the existing range. It's hard turning our back on things we love, but we need to make way for the new. And normally the reason is simple … not enough sales. The good news is that the discontinued materials will be available "while stocks last". We just won't be reordering them, and we won't be including them in our swatches, which we're To View More >>

We admit it - we’re excited to see that our gorgeous new boudoir project has been outed on social media, and we’ve been overwhelmed with enquiries. We’re very grateful, thank you, it’s just happened a little faster than we’d planned, so this is to let you know where we're up to! We’ve finished product design and pricing, but are still working our way through the web site, price calculators and ordering system, which means we may not be able to answer all your questions right now. Still, here are some links you can check out now... 1.Most To View More >>

A beautiful memento of four very loved huskies! Laurel and Kevin from Brisbane, Australia are totally devoted to their dogs and regularly participate in sledding. Just a couple of weeks after this photo session in the Glass House Mountains, their beloved brown eyed girl Kiah passed away. Charlotte, from Charlotte Reeves Photography, specialises in pet photography. She says, "I am so glad they have this beautiful album of their special girl and the bond she had with her doggy brother and sisters.” A lovely translucent page at the beginning of their 12x12 Flushmount album. Nichola and Sunhong wed at the Hermitage Hill in Wellington, rural New South Wales, Australia. It was a warm, intimate wedding with a distinctive 1920's vintage feel. Sheer Image Photography photographed their special day and has designed this lovely album for them. Nichola and Sunhong have chosen Tintoretto for their page stock - a textured, art stock that compliments their images perfectly. About the dress: "I think it had been sold to the vintage seller by a man and the dress had been his mother's wedding dress. The fabric was so delicate that it couldn't be dry cleaned and I To View More >>

Mario Lopez (current TV host on The X-Factor) and his fiancee Courtney Mazza wed in the beautiful Punta Mita, in Mexico at Joe Francis' compound. Kevin Weinstein, photographed their two-day extravaganza beautifully. If you think a videographer getting in your shot can be frustrating, or a little iPhone jutting out in the aisle, Kevin had to dodge an entire film crew, producers, and the army it takes to produce a reality TV show. This beach-side wedding ticks everything in my books. Jaw-dropping location, a mariachi band, a grand wedding cake (created by Carlos Bakery ), and a midnight To View More >>

After reading over Nadine’s heartfelt description of her wedding day, it quickly became clear that Nadine and Pascal’s wedding was filled with a great deal of love and emotion. The entire day was a beautiful celebration of their love for one another - a true love story! The wedding ceremony was held at Les Trois Glands in Luxembourg, which was a special moment Nadine describes very beautifully... “Discovering Pascal at the Trois Glands was a very big moment.” Nadine says, “I look at him already from far away… yes, this is the man of my life, looking To View More >>

Emma Hughes designed these beautiful wedding albums for Maya & Will. The bride and groom chose a gorgeous 14x10 album with a leather 1/4 page photo front. The photograph is printed on a metallic paper with a textured laminate applied which seals the image and makes it especially hard-wearing as a cover option. Maya liked a white page design and Will preferred the black page designs, so the album was created with alternating black and white pages. Rather than getting a replica of Maya and Will’s feature album, their parents decided instead to choose a 10×7″ matted album, custom designed To View More >>

You’ve heard the saying about fitting square pegs in round holes? It can be very apt when it comes to choosing images for our Photo Front covers, especially the 1/4 Photo Front, as this screen shot from PJ Remix indicates – only a slice from the image will fit on the cover. Although I’ve used Photojunction to illustrate the problem, it solves the problem as well. In Photojunction simply drag the image you want to use on to the cover layout, as in the screen shot. If it won’t fit the space you’ll soon know: you'll need to choose a different cover style or find an image with a suitable To View More >>

How do you know what size and shape to make an album cover image? How do you account for the aspect ratio and cover wrap-around (the part of the image you can't see)? If it sounds hard, it's not. Just design the cover in PJ Remix. It's exactly like designing pages only easier. You can see the aspect ratio and the wrap-around. And problems rarely occur because it's so obvious when images don't fit. We've already blogged about album covers, especially here and here, so we won't repeat ourselves. If you're not sure how to send us the image there's a link about that too. To View More >>
